I am an artist and designer based out of New York.

Prior to studying at Pratt, I had a career as a professional ballet dancer, dancing with companies in New Jersey and New York. I also enjoy choreographing, and had the opportunity to create a work for a music video as well as a self-produced dance piece.

My design approach takes the intuition of carving space as a dancer and translates it into carving space as a designer. With this approach, the design takes on a physical quality. The body is considered in the design, specifically how it moves and interacts with the space. This also plays into the psychological aspect of environments, and I consider the experience that one has through the affect that a space expresses.
