Caitlin approaches each project with an open mind, responding to the process from different angles and ideas to combine the most important elements of her research. She views this world very poetically, and finds the most subtle moments of beauty are highlighted through the process of learning, analyzing and questioning. Her explorations begin with creating a story to bring the project to life.

Within her work, she has interlocked her passion for theory, meaning and poetry with her drive for conceptual designs. Initially, she begins in an abstract manner, analyzing how lights and shadows dance with one another to compliment the other. She manipulates the boundaries of a space through sketching and 3D modeling. The final step in her process consists of hand rendering, collaging vignettes, montages and scenes that place the user in the environment in a magical and visual way. As not only a designer, but an artist, she is not ashamed to embrace a process of adapting if helps to discover the truth in the craft. She has learned through the process to ignore the comfortable and delve into the chaotic.
