By layering the space between interior and exterior, this project suggest new ways to the public about how they can inhabit the in-between space. When the traditional interior elements be broken down one by one, it allows new approach that can't exist in purely interior and exterior space.

COVID has brought changes to everyone's life on this planet, and I think these changes are permanent, especially on Interior Design part. During this tough time, park, community garden and waterfront playground have proved themselves to be better social spaces than coffee shop and bar. And they can do more with the help from Interior Design, because we have taken many things for granted that they can only be done in interior space. Have been tired of reading under artificial light?Try to read it in a park, a free library will help you find your book, all you need is to find a nice place to read it. That is what will happen when you pulling the traditional interior functions out, a library but with more feeling for opening and sharing. That is what I am doing now, designing the interior to be not just enclosure private space but also a space that encourages encounters for different groups of people or thoughts.
