Artist Statement
When I was around seven years old, my mum asked me what it was like inside my head. I responded in my pensive little seven-year-old voice, “Busy.” This story sparked my investigation into abstraction and encouraged me to push paint qualities and color interactions in a non-narrative sense. I have continued to use this new method to explore the various brain/body interactions and experiences present in myself.
