Revulve is the redesign of an aircraft experience as a more equal space. The purpose of this project is to rearrange societal hierarchies using an airplane as the microcosm. Breaming up traditions of out-dated airplane economics, Revulve is an examination of how first, business, and economy classes can coexist with justice and integrity.

Artist Statement
As an industrial design student, I saw the world diving further into the digital and I found it fundamental to apply my 3D studies and practices into UI/UX design. By using industrial design problem solving skills for intangible experiences, I want to make the world a better place with interdisciplinary solutions.
Revulve: Design for Protest
Through Speculative Service Design, I created a space that would be ideally equal space and equal hygiene.
Airline Social Classes
When researching airline economics and social classes, It became clear that there were issues with the current interior space. Airlines, for years, have sold the same product (getting from point A to point B) to different people for different prices. The design challenge became: How can I create a more shared space and equal experience?
User Centered Approach
At it's core, good service design is user centered. By creating a fictional user, I could better navigating when designing speculatively.
Overall Experience
For the overall experience, all passengers will have their own window space. And to bring cost down with new technologies, captain and flight attendances will be of help through a kiosk on board. For food, drink, and other amenities, the user is able to download an in-house app to order their food, then retrieve their food on a conveyer belt.
Food Packaging and Service
The package of the food is inspired by how resources such as air and oxygen should be an equal opportunity for all passengers. The bigger picture is that all human life is valuable and as a designer, it's important to design equally for all. After establishing food packaging, the entire experience, from interior space, objects, to UI/UX can be tied together for a unique experience.
