I have a hard time living in the real world, my thoughts travel far. I developed the habit of fabricating worlds around me since my teens, when I was trapped in a boarding school six days a week for six years. “Living” in imaginary worlds was a form of escape. I kept this habit even after leaving the boarding school and it gradually became a way of self-analysis: what am I escaping from and where am I escaping to? My works are visualizations of my dream worlds and by exploring the dissimilarities between my dream worlds and the real one, I make my subconscious conscious.
